FCP B96 F42: Letter from Beryl Crookshank to Leonora Curtin, 1921/09/22

Written by      First published October 31, 2009      Last modified October 6, 2011

Dear Mrs. Curtin,

Thank you so much for the very interesting lecture you gave us yesterday. My only regret was that there was such a small attendance, but I know you realized how full of *** *** people are in September. It was most sad, as I know there would have been a full house any other month.

Please forgive me for running away directly after, but I had H. E. The Governor dining before the **** [indecipherable]. Again very many thanks.

Yours sincerely,

Beryl M. Crookshank

Of the two indecipherable words in “full of *** *** people are” the second word is perhaps the Jain word Sruta.
